Unscrew the logs and hide treats or small toys inside. Screw them back together, loosely to start with, and hang it up in the cage for your bird to unscrew the toy and get to the treasures.

Turn the stainless steel latch underneath the toy to remove the door. Remove the dowels and place the treats, like fruit, veg, nuts, or just toys, chewable pieces of paper, Shredders, etc. inside. Replace the dowels, starting with just a couple, and building the number up, as the parrot learns to forage. Put the door back on and fasten the latch to secure.
